I believe my role as your Marriage Celebrant is a very personal one and so this is the perfect opportunity to tell you a little bit about myself.

Born in Auckland, New Zealand in the 60’s, I had a very happy and active childhood growing up with my parents and 3 brothers, and have many wonderful memories, particularly of holidays spent at our beach home at Mount Maunganui.

I settled in Australia in January 1986.

I moved to the beautiful Central Coast in 1996 and only wish we had found it earlier. What a fantastic place. Not only is it totally gorgeous, but it has a true and rare sense of community. I love it here and who wouldn't, surrounded by national parks, with surf beaches and great people too.

So, what about me, and what I like. I took up Salsa dancing when I was 39 and became instantly hooked, so much fun, but haven’t danced in a few years now but would love to get back to it now and again. I am also an avid book reader usually thrillers, but I like most genres except Mills and Boon.

I'm looking forward to more overseas travel in the future, having already had a few great trips to Canada, America, Bali and my favourite 8 days in Paris, which happened to include Valentines day, so romantic!

I like to keep active by going to the gym, playing tennis one day a week and walking with local friends, which always seems to end up at the local cafe. On the whole I am a very social person and am happiest spending time surrounded by special people, including meeting new couples.

I love my job and I think that comes across in how committed I become to each couple.
